Maggie’s Royal Free
Maggie's Royal Free is a peaceful retreat offering free support to anyone living with cancer, their family and friends. Its approachable and undulating form, designed by Daniel Libeskind of Studio Libeskind, creates a calm atmosphere with privacy, light, and shade. The building’s footprint is compact, and it expands vertically to make the best use of the site within the hospital grounds.

COEXPERTISE
PROJECT LEAD: MARY WIGGIN
Coexistence worked closely with Diego Alejandro Teixeira Seisdedos, Maggie’s In House Architect, to suggest and sample pieces for the various areas within the Centre. Kvadrat fabrics were key to the project as always, including for all the cushions and bench seating.
The main furniture supplied included a great mix of Bertoia chairs and Saarinen tables from Knoll, the Orange Slice chair from Artifort, the CH22 chairs from Carl Hansen, Suita sofas from Vitra, Dandy sofas from Mass Productions, the Julep from Tacchini, Tagliatelli chairs and the Tech Wood table from Alias, HD task chairs from Very Good & Proper, and Swoon chairs and Insula and Pon tables from Fredericia, plus Restore baskets from Muuto.
