Harley Street Private Residence
This impressive compact Pied-à-terre refurbishment in West London needed to work hard for its owners. Map Projects’ ingenious design makes every inch count, incorporating bespoke joinery and resulting in a space perfectly imagined as a capsule of tranquility with soft tones, natural textures relaxing to the touch, and filtered, diffused lighting. Somewhere between a hotel room, a train carriage and a boat cabin, the apartment functions as a retreat to navigating demanding schedules. Map Projects’ aim was to create an environment that was easy to use, both initiative and comforting – a place to recharge, and refocus after a long work trip.

We helped MAP Projects with the perfectly positioned FF&E which compliments the effortless design, adding just enough tone and texture. Fogia’s Barba Club Chairs sit next to HAY Mags in the Living Space upholstered in Kvadrat Foss & Coda fabrics, bringing a vibrant yet simple expression and pulling together the natural finishes on the elegantly sculptural Tacta chair by John Pawson for Passoni.
Hotel luxury was key and Poliform’s Jacqueline with cushioned headboard evokes comfort and casual styling. Gubi’s Tail Chair offers a versatile option for the client.
